SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University women's soccer team fell to Texas A&M University-Commerce on a cold and rainy Thursday night, 1-0.
The Belles fall to 10-3-1 overall and 6-2-1 in Lone Star Conference action.

- Both teams got off to a slow start, as they both took shots and struggled to hit the goal. Both teams registered three shots on goal in the first half.
- In the 40th minute, ASU fouled giving the Lions a penalty kick which they converted into a goal, giving TAMUC a 1-0 lead to end the first half.
- In the second half, it was a defensive battle as neither team was able to find the goal and the Lions claimed the victory, giving the Belles their second loss in conference play.
- ASU owned a majority of the shots in the second half, outshooting the Lions 10-1 with four shots landing on target.
