Coach McCorkle's Thoughts:
"A tough place to get a win. We concentrated on our defensive effort tonight and especially to be 'tuned in' during moments of transition. We created some good chances that we need to start finishing, but at the end of the day we got a win, two goals and a shut out. It seems like a small thing, but I think our communication helped a lot. Now we move on and keep our standards high for the next game."
Key Players:
- Urbany led the Belles offense, notching her first goals (2) of the season in 54 minutes of action.
- Scott tallied two assists, while McNeme had one assist. Both tallied four shots with one landing on target.
- Kira Miller grabbed five saves in the net.
