SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University Belle volleyball team jumped back into the win column after sweeping the Midwestern State Mustangs, 3-0.
The Belles are now 20-2 overall, and 11-1 in conference.

- Set one started off strong for the Belles as they quickly jumped to a 4-1 lead over the Mustangs with Haley Coulter back to serve for ASU.
- Morgan Preston pushed the Belles lead to 11-5 off an attack error from MSU and a kill from Baleigh Allen. Preston also scored a service ace for ASU.
- Sundara Chinn brought ASU to a 22-11 lead with one service ace, help from Kailyn Gilbreath with a kill, and MSU making errors.
- Kills from Gilbreath and Makenzie Griffin ended set one for the Belles, 25-13.

- Coulter set the momentum for the Blue and Gold in set two, serving for six straight points with Chinn having two kills, bringing ASU to a 6-0 lead quickly.
- Kills from Griffin and Gilbreath, plus an error from MSU, pushed the Belles to a 10-4 lead.
- With Meghan Parker at the serving line, the Mustangs would have a hard time returning her serves, making three errors to help bring the Blue and Gold to a 20-9 lead.
- On a kill from Chinn, ASU took set two, 25-10.

- ASU would start set three off slowly, battling for points early in the set, with both teams trading off points.
- A kill from Griffin set up the Belles momentum, allowing Lindsey Ledyard to serve and brought ASU to an 8-4 lead over MSU.
- With Chloe Patton to serve later in the set, she gave Coulter and Gilbreath the ability to show off their offensive prowess on the court, as she would serve for eight straight points, bringing the score to a 17-5 lead for the Belles.
- Kills from Griffin and Kenzie Jordan sealed the match for ASU, 25-11.
