SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University Belle basketball team travels to Arkansas to play their first two games on the road against Harding University and Arkansas Tech University.

Series Matchup:
This will be the second time in school history that Angelo State and Harding University have played each other, with ASU leading the series, 1-0. The last time these two teams met was on November 23, 2007, where the Belles defeated the Bison's, 74-70.
This will be the first time in school history that Angelo State and Arkansas Tech have played each other. The Golden Suns finished their season at 15-16 overall, and 10-12 in their conference, the Great American Conference. They played No.8 Southwestern Oklahoma in the GAC Tournament Final and were defeated 87-66.
Players to Watch:
- De'Anira Moore had a double-double against Texas Wesleyan where she registered 10 rebounds and 15 points. Moore registered two blocks as well.
- Catara Samuel registered five rebounds, and one steal. Samuel also had a career-high with 22 points made. She was 7-8 of field goals and 1-2 from the three point line.
- Kinley Brown, a true freshman for the Belles, registered her first collegiate double-double with 11 rebounds and 12 points in her collegiate debut.
