KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Angelo State University men's basketball team continued its win streak, defeating the Texas A&M University Texarkana Eagles, 75-62, on Friday night to improve to 4-0 on the season.

- The Eagles scored a quick jumper to start the game but the Rams answered back to tie and go on a 19-0 run before TAMUT ended it on a jumper at the 14:33 mark in the first half.
- Angelo State continued to lead through the first but the Eagles tried to chip away at the lead.
- Rams held the lead at halftime, 42-29.
- The Blue and Gold momentum continued to start the second half, as ASU notched four points in the first minute to lead 44-29.
- Late into the second half, the Eagles chipped away at the Rams lead to trail by seven at 61-54 at the 8:06 mark.
- TAMUT cut the lead to three but the Rams ended up pulling away to claim the victory, 75-62.
Key Players:
- Collin Turner led the offense with 18 points shooting 6-of-15 from the field.
- Ronald Bell and Andres Ibarguen came up short of double-doubles. Bell notched 16 points and nine rebounds while Ibarguen tallied 10 points and nine rebounds.
- Jeremy Hayes also contributed with double digit points, scoring 13.
- The Rams shot 46.2 percent from the field and 60 percent from the line.
