Coach Boone's Comments:
"I was really impressed with our defensive intensity to start the game today. I felt like that set the tone for the entire game and was proud of our team for that. We also outrebounded Pueblo by 14 in the first half which is important to what we are trying to do. We have certain individuals who are playing at a high level right now but it's the strength of our team and our chemistry that continues to grow each game and practice."

"Our team continued to get better this weekend down here in Kingsville. We played some different styles of play in both games that will benefit us in the future as we now return to conference play."

Key Players:
  • Williams finished with a season-high 22 points while Ronald Bell scored 16.
  • Turner and Hayes registered 15 points apiece while Ibarguen had 13.
  • Ibarguen led the defense as well with 12 rebounds.
