SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State Belle basketball team returns to the court after the holidays to face off against the Tarleton State Texans and the Texas Woman's Pioneers at home.

Since 2007, Angelo State and Tarleton State have played a total of 27 times, with Tarleton leading the overall series, 19-8. The last time the Belles and Texans played was on January 31, 2019 where Angelo State defeated Tarleton at home, 63-60.
Since 2010, ASU and TWU have played each other 17 times with Angelo State leading the overall series, 13-4. The last time the Belles and Pioneers played each other was on February 9, 2019, where the Belles traveled to Denton and defeated the Pioneers on their home court, 82-51.
Players to Watch:
- Sawyer Lloyd, a true freshman, has shown her offensive capabilities for the Belles, shooting 5-10 field goals and 4-6 three pointers against the Northern New Mexico Lady Eagles. Lloyd scored 14 points for the Belles, as well as registering 10 rebounds and two steals.
- De'Anira Moore continues to prove essential in the paint for the Belles. Scoring 16 points, Moore shot 5-6 from the field, 1-1 from the three point line, and 5-6 from the free throw line. Moore registered three rebounds total, as well as an assist and a block.
- Lana Marov has shown her versatility for the Belles this season. Marov scored 12 points, shooting 4-9 from the field and 4-9 from the three point line. Marov registered three total rebounds, as well as two assists, one block, and two steals.
