SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 4-0 win over the visiting Dallas Baptist Patriots Friday afternoon at the ASU Tennis Complex.

The Belles easily won the doubles point, with the team of Valentina Gonzalez and Ena Ovcina wining 6-4, Virginie Becht and Zoe Gubbels won 6-0, and Maria Delgadillo and Lucie Maitrot won 6-4.

After winning three singles matches, the match was over. Valentina Gonzalez won 6-4, 6-2, Maria Delgadillo won 6-2, 6-1, and Virginie Becht won 6-3, 6-1.

The Belles will be in action again next week as they travel to Austin to take on St. Edward's.
