Jeremy Hayes,
Collin Turner, and
Camron Reedus were on fire behind the three-point line to combine for 64 points and carry the Angelo State University men's basketball team to victory over the University of Texas at Tyler, 88-82, on Thursday night. Hayes, Turner, and Reedus all scored over 20-points for the Ram offense.
The Rams improve to 13-4 on the season and 9-4 in conference action.

- After tying twice early in the first half, the Blue and Gold grabbed the lead at the 14:41 mark and never relinquished it.
- Angelo State went on an 11-2 run over the span of a minute and a half to lead 19-10.
- With less than four minutes remaining in the first half, the Rams had a 17-point lead at 39-22 after Hayes knocked down a three-pointer.
- The Patriots chipped away at the ASU lead within in the final minute and a half of the first half but trailed 46-35.
- The Rams scored 33 of their 46 first half points from beyond the three point arc to shoot 50 percent from downtown (11-22).
- Reedus (14), Turner (12), and Hayes (13) all hit double figures in the first half.
- In the second half, the Blue and Gold's momentum continued, holding a double-digit lead the whole half until the final 1:16, as the Patriots chipped away and managed to come within six points in the final 16 seconds but came up short as ASU claimed an 88-82 victory.
Notable Performances:
- Andres Ibarguen registered another double-double on the season, contributing to the offense with 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
- Turner finished with 22 points shooting 50 percent from the field (7-of-14), including behind the three-point line (4-of-8).
- Hayes scored 21 points. He went 3-of-9 from downtown, 7-of-19 from the field, and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.
- Reedus scored a season-high 21 points, along with a season-high 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. He went 7-of-11 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
