LUBBOCK, Texas – The Angelo State Belles basketball participated in early season action in an exhibition game against the Lady Red Raiders, but ultimately fell to a well-rounded and offensively capable Texas Tech team.
Key Players:
- Lana Marov led the Belles against the Lady Raiders, registering her first double-double of the season, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, three on offense and seven on defense.
- Sadie Misner scored 10 points in her first collegiate game as a Belle, grabbing two assists as well against the Lady Red Raiders,
- Madeline Stephens scored six points in her first collegiate game, and grabbed 10 rebounds against Texas Tech, two on offense and eight on defense.
- Jade Mbam scored seven points against Tech, and grabbed two rebounds, one on both offense and defense.
