Belles Fall in Exhibition Match to Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Angelo State Belles basketball participated in early season action in an exhibition game against the Lady Red Raiders, but ultimately fell to a well-rounded and offensively capable Texas Tech team.
 
Key Players:
  • Lana Marov led the Belles against the Lady Raiders, registering her first double-double of the season, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, three on offense and seven on defense.
  • Sadie Misner scored 10 points in her first collegiate game as a Belle, grabbing two assists as well against the Lady Red Raiders,
  • Madeline Stephens scored six points in her first collegiate game, and grabbed 10 rebounds against Texas Tech, two on offense and eight on defense.
  • Jade Mbam scored seven points against Tech, and grabbed two rebounds, one on both offense and defense.

The Belles return to the Stephens Arena to begin conference play as the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas come to San Angelo, Texas on Friday, December 18 to play the Blue and Gold at 5:30 p.m.
