ARKADELHIA, Arkansas – The Angelo State Belle tennis team traveled to Arkansas to play against Mississippi College, defeating the Choctaws 5-2.

- Gonzalez defeated her opponent in both her first set against Mississippi College, winning 6-3, with her second sets being retired, 3-1, before they could finish the match.
- Ovcina battled valiantly in her two sets but fell short in both, losing the first 6-3, and the second, 6-4, falling to the Choctaws.
- Dianela Rodriguez defeated her opponent in her first set, 6-4, and won her second set, 6-2, claiming her first victory of the weekend over Mississippi College.
- Delgadillo lost her first set, 7-5, and fell the second set as well, 6-3, to a well-rounded and skilled Choctaw player.
- Gubbels swept her opponent in both sets she played, sweeping the first set, 6-0, and winning her second set, 6-1.
- Becht quickly followed Gubbels lead and defeated her opponent in two sets as well, winning the first set, 6-1, and sweeping her opponent in the second set, 6-0.
