SAN ANGELO, Texas – Former Angelo State pitcher Fabian Muniz signed a professional contract to play with Pericos de Puebla in the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol.
 
Muniz played two seasons for the Rams from 2019 to 2020. In 2019, he finished with a 6-2 overall record while appearing in 21 games and collecting 44 strikeouts. Muniz earned the win in the series clincher against Rogers State in the NCAA South Central Regional series to help the Rams advance to the Super Regional.
