Much of their success came at home last season, holding a home record of 8-1-1 while scoring 18 goals and allowing only five against them.
In their first game of the season, the Chaps picked up a 2-1 win over UT Permian Basis on Wednesday.
Lubbock Christian tallied 301 points in the preseason poll to come in at third while keeper Hannah Wise was selected as the Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year. LCU was scheduled to open the spring season last weekend but saw the game canceled due to weather conditions and will now begin the season against the Belles.
