SAN ANGELO, Texas – With their first game of the 2022-23 season just days away, the Angelo State women's basketball team added two signees to their 2023 class as Madi Lumsden and Peyton Stellato inked their National Letters of Intent to join Head Coach Alesha Elllis and the Rambelles.
Madi Lumsden | Argyle, Texas | Argyle HS | Guard
Lumsden arrives to San Angelo from Argyle, Texas. She has earned TGCA All-State recognition twice for 4A. Lumsden was named the District 7-4A Offensive MVP, named to the 4A State All-Tournament Team, and has two All-Region nods. Lumsden looks to add more to an already impressive resume this, her senior season. Lumsden will major in accounting at Angelo State.
Peyton Stellato | Fort Worth, Texas | All Saints Episcopal HS | Guard
Stellato is a 5'10 combo guard coming out of the Fort Worth area. She currently holds a 4.0 GPA and is in the top 10 percent of her graduating class. Stellato plans to major in criminal justice and/or psychology in her time at ASU.
