Pensacola, Fla. – The Angelo State women's tennis team ended their spring break road trip with a tight loss to the nation's 24
th-ranked squad, West Florida, on Friday in the Sunshine State, losing 4-3, with the match being decided at the final singles match.
The Belles got off to a good start, claiming the doubles point with wins at lines two and three.
On the singles side,
Eva Schwartz won at line four in straight sets while
Ayda Guler claimed her match at line five in three sets.
The Belles are now 8-4 overall on the season; they return to action next Friday against St. Mary's.
