• ASU opens the season against Colorado Christian for the second consecutive season, after beating the Cougars 5-1 in 2021.
• The Belles have won six straight games on opening day, dating back to the 2015 season where they drew with Adams State.
• The Belles enter the season ranked number 25 in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) preseason poll.
• Seniors Mia Czarnecki and Cassidy Hill were announced as captains for the 2022 campaign.
• ASU returns 19 of 28 letterwinners from the 2021 season which saw them advance to the second round of the NCAA DII National Tournament.
• Kira Miller, the reigning Lone Star Conference goalkeeper of the year enters the season needing 55 saves to break the all-time saves record at Angelo State. She already holds the Belles all-time shutouts and wins titles.
• Miller and backline staple Hill were announced as LSC preseason Goalkeeper and Defender of the year, both for the second consecutive season.
• Head Coach Travis McCorkle enters his 15^th season at the helm of the Belles program, looking to add more hardware following the team's second consecutive LSC Tournament Championship.
• Assistant Coach Harold Muñoz enters his sixth season with the Belles, and Avery McNeme enters the coaching ranks as the Belles graduate assistant following five years on the field.

ANGELO STATE vs COLORADO CHRISTIAN

• The Belles are undefeated against the Cougars in the three meetings between the two teams, outscoring CCU 10-1.
• The last time the teams played in Lakewood was in 2003, the Belles won 2-0.
• The Cougars finished ninth in a competitive RMAC last season, going 4-10-3 overall and 3-8-1 in conference play.
• Capri Dewing returns as a payer to watch for the Cougars, she led the team last season scoring five goals.

• The Thunderwolves hold the series advantage over the Belles, 1-2-1 all time.
• The teams met last season in San Angelo where the Belles came away victorious 2-0 behind goals from Katie Detmer and Grace Jordan.
• Faith Meredith returns for the Thunderwolves after leading the team with six goals and five assists last season.
• CSU-Pueblo finished fifth in the RMAC last season and was selected to finish sixth in the preseason poll.
