DALLAS – The Angelo State volleyball team started off their final weekend of the season with a loss at the hands of DBU on Friday night in Dallas, losing three sets to one.
The hosts took sets one and two before the Rambelles staved off elimination by taking set three 25-21; the hosts would come back and win the match in four sets, doing so by a 25-21 scoreline in the frame.
The Rambelles were held to a season-low .113 hitting percentage, committing 24 attack errors.
Hannah Kinnison led the team with 11 kills and hit .375 for the match.
Evelyn Torres had eight kills,
Madi Parrish had five, and seniors
Elsa Lamphere and
Marina Sanchez had four apiece.
Laney Dale led the Belles with 15 assists, while
Kayla Baer had ten off the bench.

Caleigh Enax led the match with 15 digs.
The Belles are now 22-5 on the season, and 12-3 in LSC play; they wrap up the regular season tomorrow against UT Tyler.
