Rambelles Fall to UMary 81-67 in the 2023-2024 Season Opener

BILLINGS, Montana - The Angelo State women's basketball team falls to UMary 67-81 in the first contest to begin the 2023-2024 season in Billings, Montana, at the D2CCA Tipoff Classic at the Trailhead.
 
40 MINUTE RUNDOWN
  • Blakely Gerber, in her return to the court, scored the first points of the 2023-2024 season for the Rambelles as they got an easy layup to give the Rambelles a 2-0 lead to start the game.
  • Blakely Gerber and Keniah Williams would end the first quarter with four points.
  • The Marauders would end the first quarter on a 7-2 run to bring the score to 14-19.
  • In the first four minutes of the second quarter, the Marauders would go on an 8-1 run to bring its lead to 26-15 halfway through the second quarter.
