HILO, Hawaii - After huge contributions from the big four, the Angelo State women's basketball team went 2-0 at the Big Island Holiday Classic, downing the Vulcans 69-62 Saturday evening at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.

- Briley Merket scored five points down the stretch to bring the Rambelles lead to 20-8 going into the second quarter.

- After a 30-point and 15-rebound performance on Friday, and adding 16 points and 12 rebounds on Saturday, Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant would be named to the All-Classic team, along with Sawyer Lloyd, who had 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and four steals on Friday, while adding 15 points and five rebounds on Saturday.
- McGhee-Pleasant would earn her fifth double-double of the year and her third in the last five games with a 16-point and 12-rebound performance.
- Landry Morrow would have 10 points and a season-high seven rebounds.
- Madeline Stephens rounded out the big four with nine points and five rebounds.
