EDMOND, Okla. – The Angelo State women's tennis team keeps the streak alive after beating Northwest Missouri State 4-2 on Friday night. The Rambelles are now 2-0 to begin the season.
The Rambelles won the doubles point thanks to the line one win by Ramitha Irrinki and Ayda Guler and the line two win by Eva Schwartz and Esther Bowers. The doubles match line three with Dianela Rodriguez and Letizia Corsini was unfinished thanks to lines one and two winning and getting the point.
Christine Jevicky, Eva Schwartz, and Ayda Guler won their singles matches which put enough points on the board to win the match for the Belles.
The Belles play Central Oklahoma tomorrow at 4 p.m. to close out the weekend.
