SAN ANGELO, Texas- The Angelo State women's tennis team has a pair of LSC matches this weekend starting with Lubbock Christian on Friday at noon and Midwestern State Saturday at noon.
 
The Belles will be facing a new opponent this Friday, Lubbock Christian, who is in its first season after bringing back the program. So far in their season, the Lady Chaps are 9-5, with seven wins and three losses in the spring.  The Lady Chaps lost their only conference match against St. Mary's 4-3.
 
So far, the Belles are 10-3 on the season with a 2-1 conference record. The Belles' 
Ramitha Irrinki has a 9-1 record for singles and an 8-4 doubles record with her partner, 
Ayda Guler. Freshman 
Letizia Corsini, who is ranked 39th, has a 9-2 singles record with all of those coming across the top two lines.
 
On Saturday, the Belles will be playing Midwestern State for the fifth time in program history. The Belles have a 2-0 record at home against the Mustangs. In the last match between the Belles and the Mustangs, 
Dianela Rodriguez won the singles line one 6-2, 6-2 and 
Eva Schwartz won line three 6-3, 6-3.
 
So far in the season, the Mustangs have a 10-3 record, dropping two matches early in the season and one in early March against Azusa Pacific.  The Mustangs' doubles pair of Skylar Minns and Emilja Visic are undefeated with a 5-0 record. Minns is also undefeated in singles with a 7-0 record.
