SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Angelo State women's tennis team finished the weekend undefeated after downing UT Tyler 6-1 in conference play at home Saturday afternoon at the ASU Tennis Complex.

Letizia Corsini won 6-3 to clinch the doubles point.
Van Deventer was the first to score in singles play for the Belles, winning line six with a score of 6-1, 6-1. Corsini won the next match 6-3, 7-6 with an 8-4 tiebreaker in line two. The fourth point of the match was scored in position one by Rodriguez with a score of 6-4, 6-2.
The Belles will look towards the postseason as they begin the Lone Star Conference Tournament beginning Thursday, April. 20.
