The Belles won the doubles point, giving them a 1-0 lead. The pair of
Ayda Guler and
Ramitha Irrinki won the doubles line one 6-0 as well as
Eva Schwartz and
Mieke Van Deventer, who won line two 6-3.

Letizia Corsinia won line two with a score of 6-2, 6-0.
Eva Schwartz took line three in three sets with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 10-8, while
Christine Jevicky won line four 6-2, 6-1.
Ramitha Irrinki took line five in a quick score of 6-3, 6-0.
Mieke Van Deventer swept line six with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 score.
