SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State volleyball team closes the regular season with their fourth successive sweep on their home court of the Junell Center – Stephens Arena, downing UT Tyler in straight sets on Saturday afternoon. The 25-21, 25-20, 25-22 sweep gives the Rambelles the two seed at next week's LSC Championship and handed the Patriots only their third three-set loss of the season.
The Belles also honored their five seniors –
Marta Roicka,
Adeline Ortman,
Evelyn Torres,
Jaedyn Woolley, and
Caleigh Enax – before their final game on their home court.
The Belles hit .213 for the match, including a blistering .375 in the final set.
The Belles out-performed the Patriots in aces (5-1), blocks (9-4) and assists (39-34).
For the second match in a row,
Madi Parrish paced the Belles offense, recording 16 kills and adding five digs defensively.
Evelyn Torres recorded her thirteenth double-double of the season in her final home contest with 11 kills and 11 digs. She hit .296 for the match and had an ace and a pair of blocks.
Sydney Thornton had eight kills and hit .353, also notching a pair of blocks.
Adeline Ortman assisted 33 times and added in a pair of aces from the service line. She passed the 1,000-assist mark on the season in the first set and is the first setter to pass the century mark for the Belles since Meghan Parker did so in 2018.

Caleigh Enax led the Belles with 17 digs. She ends the regular season with 1,465 career digs, which moves her into sixth-place all-time in program history.
The Belles end the regular season with a 25-2 overall record and a 15-1 record in LSC play. They will be the two seed in next week's LSC Tournament, where they will take on the seventh seed at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21
st in Canyon.
