SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Angelo State women's basketball team opens up their home schedule as they take on Adams State on Nov. 21st, before hitting the road again as they travel to UT Permian Basin to open Lone Star Conference play on Nov. 23rd.
 
The Rambelles are currently 2-0 after winning their first two contest at the Regional Challenge in Denver, Colorado.

• Madeline Stephens averages 13.5 points a game leading the team.
• Freshman Majik Esquivel averages 9.0 points a game leading all-freshmen.
• The Rambelles are 2-0 after winning both Regional Challenge contests.
• Every player for the Rambelles has recorded a point, rebound, or an assist this season.
• The Rambelles open LSC play this weekend.
• The Blue and Gold added Stephanie Ruiz to the coaching staff as an assistant coach after two years at Adams State where Adams State went 41-19 with her on the coaching staff.
• The Rambelles return five members from last year's squad and have added five freshmen and four transfers to the fold.
• Landry Morrow and Madeline Stephens are the only returning starters from last year's team.
• Madeline Stephens was named to the LSC Preseason Players to Watch list coming off her All-LSC Second Team Selection last season where she averaged 13.3 PPG and 7.7 rebounds.
• A familiar face to the Rambelles Lauren Catherman transfers in from St. Edward's from her time as a Hilltopper she accumulated 208 steals placing her third in program history and was sixth in the conference averaging 2.2 steals a contest. 
• Peyton Stellato after being redshirted last season looks to make a big impact on her return to the court.
• Keniah Williams is one of the five returners and is looking to have a bigger role this year after being named the starting center for the Rambelles. Last year she led the conference in blocks with 56. This year Williams has recorded three blocks in two contests.
• ASU was picked to finish sixth in the LSC preseason poll. Texas Woman's, Lubbock Christian, UT Tyler, UT Permian Basin, and West Texas A&M rounded out the top five.

 
Angelo State vs Adams State

• Adams State is currently 3-2 overall.
• The Grizzlies finished fourth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) last season after posting a 25-9 overall record, and going 18-4 in conference play.
• The Grizzlies were predicted to finish 13th in the RMAC this season.
• This season Adams State is averaging 63.2 PPG, while allowing the opposing offense to score 62.8 PPG.
• The Grizzlies have two scores averaging double-figures Kiyani Anitielu who is averaging 14.2 points per game, and Taejhuan Hill with 14.0 PPG. 
•  This will be the first match up between the two teams.

 
Angelo State at UTPB

• UTPB is 2-1 overall.
• UTPB finished third in the LSC last season after posting a 24-8 overall record and 17-5 in conference play.
• UTPB was predicted to finish fourth in the LSC this season.
• The Falcons are scoring 77.3 PPG, while holding opponents to 50 PPG.
• Taysha Rushton leads the Falcons in scoring with 14.3 PPG.
•  Angelo State leads the series 15-8, the Belles dropped the last contest 71-51 on March. 8th, 2024.
