San Angelo, Texas - After a complete performance on both ends of the floor, the Angelo State women's basketball team downed Cameron 88-52 in the Junell Center / Stephens Arena Thursday evening.
The Rambelles improve to 18-8 on the season and 12-5 in Lone Star Conference play. While the Aggies fall to 9-15 overall and 7-11 in LSC action.
40 MINUTE RUNDOWN
- Madi Lumdsen, Madeline Stephens, Keniah Williams, and Landry Morrow got things going for the Rambelles, who started the game on an 11-0 run.
- The Aggies would go on a 9-2 run to bring the deficit to 13-6 with 3:55 remaining in the first quarter.
- Back-to-back buckets from Sawyer Lloyd would give the Belles a 16-9 advantage.
- A three-ball by Madisen Honea would give the Rambelles a 21-15 lead going into the second quarter of action.
