2024 Schedule Announced for Angelo State Football

SAN ANGELO, Texas – The 2024 schedule has been announced for the Angelo State football team as the Rams start the season with two road games before their home opener on Sept. 14.
 
The Rams will play two nonconference games to open the 2024 campaign, traveling to Fort Hays State on Aug. 29 to start. The Rams will return to Kansas to take on Emporia State on Sept. 7 as part of a two-year contract that will see the Hornets come to San Angelo in 2025.
 
ASU opens the Lone Star Conference season as the Rams host Eastern New Mexico to begin the home slate on Sept. 14.
 
The Rams will be back on the road for two games, at Western New Mexico on Sept. 21 and at UT Permian Basin on Oct. 5, with a bye week in between before returning home to play Texas A&M – Kingsville on Oct. 12.
 
October 26 will feature the newest member of the LSC as the Rams host Sul Ross State in their first season in the conference.
 
The Rams play three of their last four games at home including the game against Sul Ross, taking on Central Washington on Nov. 2 before closing out the regular season against West Texas A&M on Nov. 16.
