Rambelles Season Comes to a Close After Quarterfinal Loss to UTPB 71-51

Frisco, Texas - The Angelo State women's basketball team fell to three-seed UT Permian Basin in the Lone Star Conference quarterfinals on Friday afternoon, 71-51, inside the Comerica Center.

  • Tay McGhee-Pleasant would score the first points for the Rambelles, making the score line 6-2 in the advantage of the Falcons with 5:58 remaining in the first quarter.
  • Landry Morrow would tie the game 6-6 with 4:11 remaining in the quarter.
  • Madisen Honea would tie the game at 13-13 with 9:17 remaining in the second quarter.
  • The Falcons would go on a 20-3 run to extend its lead to 33-16 with 2:15 remaining until halftime.
