SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Angelo State women's basketball team fell short in overtime falling to St. Mary's, 74-64, Thursday evening inside of Bill Greehey Arena.

With the loss the Belles fall to 13-5 overall and 9-3 in Lone Star Conference action, the Rattlers improve to 10-7 overall and 6-5 in conference action.

- Peyton Stellato would open the scoring for the Rambelles she would knock down a jumper with 5:32 remaining in the first quarter.Â
- Christin Callens went 1 of 2 from on free throws to give the Rattlers a 13-6 lead going into the second quarter of action.
- At the 7:12 marker of the second half, Majik Esquivel knocked down a three bringing the Rambelles deficit to three, 16-13.
- The Rambelles got their first lead of the contest at the 7:13 marker behind a layup from Madeline Stephens giving the Rambelles a 35-33 lead.
- Chidera Ezelio with a putback layup extended the Rambelles lead to six, giving a 41-35 lead with 4:44 remaining in the third quarter of action.
- Esquivel knocked down a layup with four seconds remaining in the quarter to give the Rambelles a 47-45 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
