Indianapolis, Ind. – The Angelo State volleyball team is ranked fifth in the latest edition of the South Central regional rankings, the NCAA announced this afternoon.
MSU Denver, West Texas A&M, UCCS, and Colorado School of Mines are listed ahead of the Belles.
CSU Pueblo, Lubbock Christian, Texas Woman's, Colorado Mesa, and Texas A&M-Kingsville round out the top ten.
The Belles are 19-7 this season and 13-2 in conference play.
Riding a six-match winning streak, the Belles need to win their final two matches of the regular season to clinch a share of the Lone Star Conference Regular Season Championship and have hosting rights to next week's LSC Tournament, which is scheduled for November 20-22.
The South Central Regional is scheduled to take place from December 4-7, with the region's top seed earning hosting rights.
The selection show for the NCAA Tournament will take place on Monday, November 24
th at 6:30 p.m. on ncaa.com.
