Indianapolis, Ind. – The Angelo State volleyball team will be the third seed in the NCAA South Central regional, the NCAA announced this evening on its selection show.
The Belles, who qualify for their 17
th NCAA Tournament in program history, will face the sixth-seeded Lubbock Christian in the opening round of the tournament on December 4
th in Denver in a rematch of the LSC Tournament Championship this past Saturday.
MSU Denver earned the top seed and hosting rights for the regional, followed by UCCS. West Texas A&M and CSU Pueblo is the four-five matchup, while Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Mesa claimed the final two spots in the regional.
The Belles enter the NCAA Tournament with a 24-7 overall record, having won their previous 11 matches.
