DENTON, Texas - The Angelo State women's soccer team fell to Texas Woman's 1-0 Tuesday evening. With the loss, the Rambelles clinch the fourth seed in the Lone Star Conference Tournament.
 
The Rambelles fall to 9-4-5 overall and 8-3-3 in conference action.
 
In the 18th minute of action, the Rambelles would give up a penalty inside the box. Jaida Arizmendi would find the back of the goal to give the Pioneers the early 1-0 lead. 
 
The Rambelles would not record their first shot of the contest until the 34th minute, when Whitni Newbill would have a shot inside the box that would end up getting blocked by the Texas Woman's defender. 
 
The Rambelles would record eight shots in the half compared to the one of the Texas Woman's. The Rambelles would have a last-second shot to try to equalize, but Faith Greaves would end up saving the shot to clinch the third seed in the LSC Tournament for the Pioneers.
 
The Rambelles would have a total of 11 shots, with four of them being on target, compared to the five shots of the Pioneers, with two being on target.
 
The Lone Star Conference Tournament field will be announced later this week, with the Rambelles locked in as the fourth seed.
