Margaux Rene leading the way starting her collegiate career 10-3 through the first 13 contests of the year, and is ranked 44th in the nation in singles play. Rene defeated Amelie Gindl 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 for her first win against a ranked opponent against Southern Arkansas. Gindl was sixth in the nation at the time of the match. Rene recorded her second win against a ranked opponent when she defeated the 75th-ranked singles player Jesica Bohnert 6-0, 6-2.
Avery Durham is continuing her dominant form as she is 8-0 coming into the biggest matchup of the year.
Ivet Stancheva is 10-2 helping clinch many match victories this season.Â
