Jason Potthoff has started his third spring season strong, setting a new program record by starting the season 12-0. The Belles sit 13-6 overall and 2-5 in Lone Star Conference action heading into this weekend's matchup. Last season, the Belles made it to the round of 16 for the first time in program history.

The Rambelles are 66-42 in singles play, with freshman
Margaux Rene leading the way, starting her collegiate career 14-5 through her first 19 career matches, and is ranked 43rd in the nation in singles play. Rene defeated the No.3 ranked Amelie Gindl 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 for her first win against a ranked opponent against Southern Arkansas on Mar. 1st. Gindl was sixth in the nation at the time of the match. Rene recorded her second win against a ranked opponent when she defeated the 75th-ranked singles player Jessica Bohnert 6-0, 6-2 on Mar. 9th. Rene then earned her third-ranked win when she defeated the No. 73-ranked singles player at the time, Andrea De Bernardo 4-6, 6-3, 10-3.

Eva Schwartz is 9-9 overall this season after defeating the current 4th-ranked singles player Jessica Binzari 0-6, 6-2, 6-1 on April. 6th.

Ivet Stancheva continues her dominant form as she is 13-5 coming into the big matchup against No. 21 Lubbock Christian, as she has helped clinch many victories for the Rambelles.Â

In doubles play, the Belles are 33-18 overall, led by the 7th-ranked doubles pairing of
Avery Durham and
Eva Schwartz, who are currently 11-4. The freshman pairing of
Benedetta Raggiotti and
