SAN ANGELO, Texas - The No.18 Angelo State women's soccer team is starting the 2025 season this week with two home games against No. 4 Colorado School of Mines on Thursday and Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday at the LeGrand Soccer Complex.

- Last year, the team finished with a 14-2-5 overall record and 10-0-3 in the LSC, advancing to the South-Central Regional finals for the first time in school history.
- Heading into this year, the Belles were selected to finish second overall behind DBU in the LSC Preseason Poll.Â

No. 4 Colorado School of Mines at No. 18 Angelo State
- The Orediggers lead the series 1-3-1 over the Rambelles, with the last matchup being on Dec. 1, 2024, resulting in a 3-1 loss for the Rambelles.Â
- Colorado School of Mines is ranked fourth in the nation, while Angelo State is ranked 18th in the nation. This is the first time in program history that the Rambelles have been ranked and faced off against a ranked opponent to open their season.Â
- The Orediggers return their second-best player from last year's elite-eight squad in Bella Campos, who recorded 14 goals and seven assists last season.Â
- Allie Lundgren returns from last year's squad, where she had nine shutouts and only allowed 12 goals in 21 appearances.Â
- CSM starts the season as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference favorites.Â
- The Orediggers finished last season with a 20-1-2 record.Â

Oklahoma Baptist vs No. 18 Angelo State
- This will be the second match-up between the two teams. Angelo State got the better of Oklahoma Baptist on Sep. 5, 2024, where the Belles went on to win 3-0.
- The Bison went 6-6-7 overall last year and 5-3-4.
- Oklahoma Baptist went on to the final of the Great American Conference, where they fell to Ouachita Baptist 4-3 in Penalty Kicks.
- The Bison returned Sam Sheffield, who was a big part of the Bison's midfield, where she played 1,242 minutes, scoring one goal and recording four assists.Â
