SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Angelo State women's soccer team looks to get back on track in Lone Star Conference play as they take on St. Edward's on Wednesday and Oklahoma Christian on Saturday.

• The Belles 
• Sanai Stewart leads the team in goals with two.
• Abby James leads the team in assists with three. 
• Wrilyn Shippey scored the first goal of the year for the Rambelles and her first goal of her career 
• The Belles are looking to repeat as champions after claiming their fifth regular-season title and third tournament title in program history.
• The Rambelles have had five different goal scorers this season: Abby James, Sanai Stewart, Emily Thames, Christian Clark, and Wrilyn Shippey. 
• Seniors Harper Saxon and Melyna Martinez were named captains for the 2025 season.
• This season, the Belles have two shutouts in six contests.
• Sanai Stewart was among the Offensive Players to Watch in the LSC, while Harper Saxon is among the defensive players to watch in the LSC.
• Christina Clark was an All-American last year for her outstanding performance leading one of the nation's best defensive units.
• Head Coach Travis McCorkle enters his 18th season at the helm of the Belles program. 
• Assistant Coach Harold Munoz enters his ninth season with the Belles.  Nayeli Celedon, who attended St. Mary's, and Isabel Robben, who attended Fort Hays, enter their first year as graduate assistants for the Rambelles program. 
• Last year, the team finished with a 14-2-5 overall record and 10-0-3 in the LSC, advancing to the South-Central Regional finals for the first time in school history. 
• Heading into this year. The Belles were selected to finish second overall behind DBU in the LSC Preseason Poll. 
• The Rambelles have made the LSC Tournament every year since 2010.

• Rambelles lead the series 7-3, with ASU winning the last matchup 2-0 on October 2nd, 2024, and have a 5-1 record at home against the Hilltoppers
•  St. Edwards is currently 2-4 on the season and 1-1 in LSC play. 
• Annie Roacha leads the team in goals with five  
• The Hilltoppers have had seven different players record a goal this season. 
• The Hilltoppers' goalkeepers, Daria Schlumbohm and Miranda Sullivan, have combined for one shutout on the year. 

 
Angelo State vs Oklahoma Christian

• Rambelles lead the series 5-0-2, ASU won the last matchup 3-0 on Oct.12, 2024.
• The Eagles are currently 3-1-1 overall and 1-0 in Conference play
• The Rambelles are 2-0-2 when they play at OCU's home field. 
• Sophie Placke and Caid Jefferson are tied for the team lead in goals with three 
• The Eagles keeper, Breanna Wooten, has recorded two shutouts in the five contests
