SAN ANTONIO – The Angelo State men's basketball team dropped its second road contest of the week, falling 47-43 against St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon in what proved to be a defensive slugfest inside Bill Greehey Arena.

The Rams shot 30 percent from the field and 13 percent from three, but the hosts fared only slightly better at 35.6 percent from the field and 14.3 percent from three.

Jesaiah McWright led the Rams in scoring with 11 points, five of which came from the free-throw line. He also grabbed two rebounds and assisted twice.

Jordan Crawford and Jabbari Barry each scored eight points; Crawford secured four rebounds and assisted twice.

Jhordan Ryan contributed six points and led the Rams with 11 rebounds, also rejecting three Rattlers shots on the defensive end.

The Rams now stand at 15-12 overall and 6-10 in LSC play. They return home next weekend for games against Lubbock Christian and Midwestern State.
