Edmond, OKLA.- The Rambelles defeated Southwest Baptist 4-0 to extend their win streak to four matches in a row.
The Rambelles advance to 4-0 to begin the season.
The Rambelles would start the day with their match being pushed back until 4:00 p.m. to start their day. Once the matches got underway, the Rambelles started rolling with
Jade Bestagno and
Danaiya Amangazhiyeva defeating the pairing of Sammi Liu and Maria Zotti, 6-0. The pairing of
Margaux Rene and
Benedetta Raggiotti defeated Defna Ursan and Isabella Canedo to clinch the doubles point for the Rambelles.
With Southwest Baptist not having six players to participate in singles play, the Rambelles would automatically giving the Rambelles a 2-0 lead.
Sasa Felixova would defeat Ally Bowser 6-0, 6-1 to give the Rambelles a 3-0 lead.
Rene would see her first match in singles play this year. In the first set, Rene would wipe off the dust as she fell 2-6 in the first set, but Rene would come back 6-2, 6-1 to record her first singles win of the year and the victory for the Rambelles.
