Edmond, OK - The Angelo State women's tennis team extended their win streak to eight matches after defeating Arkansas Tech 6-0 Friday afternoon.
 
With the victory, the Rambelles move to 8-0 on the season.
 
The Rambelles started the day strong, winning the doubles point as Sasa Felixova and Anastasiia Melnikova defeated Rebecca Arnold and Nabilah Dunn 6-1. Margaux Rene and Benedetta Raggiotti defeated Monic Balau and Elis Gergel 7-6(7-4) to clinch the doubles point for the Rambelles. Jade Bestagno and Danaiya Amangazhiyeva defeated Natalya Montoya and Lucia Perez Hruba 7-6 (8-6) to sweep the doubles matches.
 
Margaux Rene showed why she is a top player in the nation as she defeated Monica Balau 6-2 in straight sets to give the Rambelles a 2-0 advantage. 
 
Benedetta Raggiotti continues her dominant form to start the season as she defeated Rebecca Arnold, 6-1, 6-2, to give the Rambelles a 3-0 advantage
 
Anastasia Melnikova clinched the match for the Rambelles as she defeated Natalya Montoya 6-2, 6-4 to give the Rambelles the victory and a 4-0 lead. 
 
Sasa Felixova defeated Nayara Alvarez 6-0, 6-2 to give the Rambelles a 5-0 advantage.
 
Danaiya Amangazhiyeva defeated Lucia Hruba Perez in a three-set battle as Lucia Perez won the first set 6-4, but Amangazhiyeva would get the best of Perez as she won 6-2 on the second set and was able to pull out the victory on the third set 10-3 to give the Rambelles a 6-0 advantage. 
 
Elis Gergel would get the lone point for the Golden Suns as she defeated Anna Waché 4-6, 6-3, 10-4
 
The Rambelles would end up winning the match 6-1. 
 
The Belles will be back in action tomorrow as they take on Southeastern Oklahoma State with the first serve scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
