SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State men's basketball team closed its weekend with a 69-51 win over Sul Ross State on Saturday afternoon inside the Junell Center/Stephens Arena as the Rams extended their winning streak to three games.
The turning point of the game was a 16-2 run for the Rams in the second half, turning a one-point deficit into a double-digit lead.
The Rams shot 46 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Lobos 33-29. The Rams also took care of the ball, turning it over only seven times.
Jhordan Ryan recorded another double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Montserratian shot 8-for-9 from the field, blocked a pair of shots, and grabbed two steals.
Zyon Little joined his teammates in double figures with 17 points.

Ashraf Barsham recorded nine, eight, and seven points, respectively.
Jordan Crawford led the Rams with five of the team's 11 assists.
The Rams improve to 15-10 on the season and 6-8 in conference play. They are on the road next weekend as they take on St. Edward's and St. Mary's.
