ARLINGTON, Texas - The Angelo State women's tennis team remains hot to begin the season, defeating Texas Wesleyan 7-0 Saturday afternoon. 
 
The Belles move to 2-0 overall with the win. 
 
To begin the contest, the Rambelle pairing of Sasa Felixova and Anastasiia Melnikova defeated Micaelli Magday and Shelby Standokes 6-1.  Jade Bestagno and her partner Danaiya Amangazhiyeva defeated Carla Arce and Kaja Brunzlow 6-4 to claim the doubles point for the Rambelles.  The Sophomore pairing of Benedetta Raggiootti and Margaux Rene defeated Paulina Hudson and Zeynep Edge 7-6(7-5) to sweep the entire doubles portion.
 
Amangaziyeva defeated her opponent, Hudson, 6-0, 6-0 to give the Rambelles a 2-0 advantage. 
 
Bestagno defeated Meghan Connoly 6-1, 6-2 to give the Rambelles a 3-0 lead.
 
Melnikova defeated Arce  6-2 in straight sets to claim the victory for the Rambelles, giving them a 4-0 advantage. 
 
Raggiotti defeated Megasday 6-0, 6-3 to give the Rambelles a 5-0 lead. 
 
Felixova defeated Brusnlow 6-2 in straight sets to claim the 6th point for the Rambelles 
 
Anne Waché defeated Ege 7-5, 6-3 to claim the first sweep for the Rambelles.
