RICHARDSON, Texas - Following a week that saw the Angelo State women's team defeated Emporia State 7-0, Shippensburg 7-0, and Slippery Rock 5-2. Danaiya Amangazhiyeva and Vasilissa Kupriianova were named the Lone Star Doubles Team of the Week, and Kupriianova was named the Singles Player of the Week. 
 
Against Emporia State, the pairing of Danaiya Amangazhiyeva and Vasilissa Kupriianova would defeat their opponents 6-2, Against Shippensburg, the pairing would win 6-1, and then against Slippery Rock, the pair would win 6-3 to go 3-0 in their first three matches playing together.
 
Kupriianova during the week would go 3-0, defeating Yuliya Klimova from Emporia State 7-6, 6-3. Kupriianova would defeat Corinee Markovich 6-0, 6-1. Kupriianova would continue her domination, defeating Alissia Kivi from Slippery Rock, 6-2, 6-1 to move 4-0 on the year. 
 
This is the first time that Danaiya Amangazhiyeva and Vasilissa Kupriianova are recognized as Lone Star Conference Player of the Week in their careers. 
 
This is the ninth time that a Belle has received a weekly honor under Head Coach Jason Potthoff. 
 
The Rambelles are back in action as they take on Cameron on Friday at 11:00 a.m. and Midwestern State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
