RICHARDSON, Texas - Following a weekend that saw the Angelo State Women's Tennis team defeat Lone Star Conference opponents Cameron 4-3 and Midwestern State 4-3. Benedetta Raggiotti was named the Lone Star Conference Singles Player of the Week. 
 
Against Cameron, Raggiotti defeated Isabella Quintero 6-4, 6-1. 
 
Against No. 24 Midwestern State, Raggiotti defeated Alessia Dolce 6-3, 7-5 to tie the match 3-3. 
 
This is the first time that Benedetta Raggiotti was recognized as the Lone Star Conference Singles Player of the Week. Earlier this season, Raggiotti earned  Doubles Player of the Week with her partner Margaux Rene. 
 
This is the 10th time that a Belle has received a weekly honor under Head Coach Jason Potthoff.
 
The Rambelles are back in action this Saturday as they take on St. Mary's with the first serve scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
