Lubbock, Texas - The Angelo State women's tennis team fell to Lubbock Christian 4-3 on Friday afternoon.
 
With the loss, the Belles move to 20-2 overall, and 7-2 in Lone Star Conference action.
 
Sasa Felixova and Vasilisaa Kupriianova started things off for the Rambelles in the doubles, defeating the pairing of Oshini Herath and Alexandra Luders 6-1. 
 
Jativa Kristel and Sofia Valero Trevin defeated Danaiya Amangazhiyeva and Jade Bestagno 6-3 to tie things in doubles play. The pairing of Andrea De Bernardo and Ana Maria Zoric defeated Margaux Rene and Benedetta Raggiotti 7-5 to clinch the doubles point for the Lady Chaps.
 
AnaMaria Zoric would start things for the Lady Chaps as she defeated Vasilissa Kupriianova 6-2, 6-2, giving the Lady Chaps an 2-0 advantage.
 
Sasa Felixova would defeat Sofia Valero Trevin 6-1, 6-3 to give the Rambelles their first point, making 2-1 in favor of the Lady Chaps. 
 
Danaiya Aangazhiyeva defeated Oshini Herath 6-4, 6-2 to tie the match 2-2. 
 
 Anna Waché defeated Aitanna Moreno Villa 6-3, 6-4 to give the Rambelles their first lead of the match, making it 3-2 in favor of the Rambelles. 
 
Kristel Jativa defeated Benedetta Raggiotti in a three-set thriller 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 to tie the match at 3-3. 
 
It would come down to Margaux Rene and Andrea De Bernardo for the deciding fourth point. Bernardo would get the best of Rene as would win 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 to claim the victory giving the Rambelles their second loss of the season. 
 
The Rambelles will return to action tomorrow as they take on UTPB.
