Arlington, Texas - With the Lone Star Conference Tournament set to start tomorrow, the conference announced its all-conference and all-academic award winners at the annual women's tennis banquet this evening.

Sophomore
Margaux Rene, a native of Soisy-Sur-Siene, France, was recognized as part of the All-Academic team. Rene was also a part of the Second team singles, recording a 13-6 record playing flight 1 for the Rambelles. Rene also had an incredible year in doubles play as she was named to the Second Team Doubles with her partner
Benedetta Raggiotti, recording a 15-6 record on the year. Rene finished the regular season as the 39th-ranked player in the nation. Rene was also recognized as part of the Sportsmanship Team.

Vasilissa Kupriianova was named to the Second Team Singles as she recorded an 11-2 record playing the majority of line two singles on the year. Kupriianova's decisive win this year was when she defeated Selina Wu 6-3, 6-2 to give the Rambelles their first win against St. Mary's on the road.Â

The Belles had four players named to the Honorable Mention Singles Team. Freshman
Danaiya Amangazhiyeva, with a 17-2 record on the year, played the majority of flight three singles.

Sasa Felixova led the team with 20 wins as she was named to the Honorable Mention Singles Team, playing the majority of the matches from line 5 singles.Â

Anna Waché was named to the honorable mention singles team after recording a 16-4 record from line 6 singles.Â

Benedetta Raggiotti had an incredible year from line four singles, recording a 19-2 overall record, leading her to the honorable mention singles team.
