ENNIS, Texas - The Angelo State women's tennis team fell to UT Tyler 4-3 on Friday afternoon. 
 
With the loss, the Belles fall to 22-3 on the season, and we will be waiting for the selection show on May. 4th at 7 pm
 
 The pairing of Yona Bancarel and Natalia Gorzny defeated Margaux Rene and Benedetta Raggiotti 6-4 to get things started in the doubles play. 
 
Paula Castellanos and Maria Antonio Ortega defeated Vasilissa Kupriianova and Sasa Felixova 6-2 to claim the Doubles point for the Patriots. 
 
Paula Castellanos would get things started for the Rambelles as she defeated Anna Waché 6-0, 6-4 to give UT Tyler a 2-0 lead. 
 
Benedetta Raggiotti defeated Hailey Zhang 6-2, 7-5 to tie the Rambelles their first point of the match, making it 2-1 
 
Sasa Felixova defeated Carla Rodier 6-4, 6-4 to tie the match 2-2 
 
Yona Bancarel defeated Margaux Rene 7-5, 6-3 to reclaim the lead 3-2 with two matches remaining. 
 
Danaiya Amangazhiyeva def. Maria Antonio Ortega 6-2, 7-6(6-4) to tie the match 3-3 
 
Natalia Gorzny defeated Vasilissa Kupriianova in a three-set thriller 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to claim victory and move UT Tyler to the finals of the Lone Star Conference Tournament. 
 
The Belles will await their fate on Monday to see if they get selected for the NCCA Tournament.
