GREENWOOD, Ind. -  The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Academic All-District teams, and Rambelles Sophomore Margaux Rene was named to the Academic All-District Team, the organization announced this morning. 
 
The Academic All-District Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) in order to recognize student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must play in over 70 percent of their matches and have a 3.50 or higher GPA.
 
Rene is a Sophomore Marketing major from Soisy-Sur-Siene, France. Rene was a critical component to the Rambelles lineup this season, being one of the leaders of the team. Rene was the line one singles player for the Rambelles. Rene ended the season with with a 13-9 record in singles play. Rene, with her partner Benedetta Raggiotti, was a dominant force in doubles action. Rene and Raggiotti ended the season with a 16-8 overall record in doubles play. The pair ended the season ranked 13th in the nation.
