Ewing, Sifuentes, Trotter, Forney Named to D2CCA All-South Central Region Teams

SAN ANTONIO – The Angelo State softball team saw four of its members – Addy Ewing, Zoey Sifuentes, Tatiana Trotter, and Kylie Forney – named to the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association (D2CCA) All-South Central teams, the organization announced this morning.

Ewing, Sifuentes, and Trotter were named to the first team, while Forney was a second-team selection.

Ewing was dominant inside the circle, finishing the 2026 campaign with a 17-0 record and a 2.43 ERA. She threw two complete games, one complete-game shutout, and recorded four saves in relief.

The Kinesiology student struck out 78 batters in 118.1 innings of work and held opponents to a .245 batting average.

This is Ewing's second all-region honor for the Blue and Gold, and her first named First Team All-Region after she earned second team recognition from the NFCA.

Sifuentes, the LSC Freshman of the Year, experienced a breakout rookie season in San Angelo, leading the Rambelles with a .404 batting average, 21 doubles, and 76 RBI.

The Exercise Science student hit 16 home runs in her rookie season and had an .814 slugging percentage. The Lamesa product has carried two separate hit streaks of 12 and 11 games, respectively, during the season.

This is Sifuentes' second all-region honor after earning NFCA First Team All-Region honors last week.

Trotter, like Sifuentes, earns her second First Team All-Region honor of 2026 and the fifth of her career.

The lone four-year letterwinner on this year's team, she finished her senior season hitting .358 with 18 home runs and driving in 58 runs. The NFCA Division II Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season has recorded 18 career triples, the most in program history, and became the fifth player to surpass the 40-homer mark in an ASU career.

The Intelligence and Analysis graduate slugged a team-best .838 and held a 29-game streak where she reached base earlier this season. She finishes her career with a .673 slugging percentage, 167 runs scored, 42 home runs, 171 RBI, 396 total bases, 99 walks, and ten sacrifice flies, all of which are top-ten marks in program history in their respective categories.

Forney earns the first all-region honor of her career after a 2026 campaign where she hit .352 with 68 runs scored. The LSC Newcomer of the Year led the LSC in walks (54) and stolen bases (34) this season while recording a .545 on-base percentage.

Her on-base percentage is the third-best in a single season in program history, while her 68 runs and 54 walks drawn rank second.

Ewing, Sifuentes, and Trotter will move on to the D2CCA All-American ballot.
