TEMPE, Ariz - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its list of academic winners this afternoon. The Angelo State women's tennis program earned All-Academic honors, while having seven student-athletes being named to the ITA Scholar-Athletes list. 
 
Athletes must have a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete. For a team to be named to the ITA All-Academic Team, the program must acquire a team GPA of 3.2.
 
The Belles who earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors are Anastasiia Melnikova, Margaux Rene, Jade Bestagno, Benedetta Raggiotti, Sasa Felixova, Danaiya Amangazhiyeva, and Anna Waché.
 
The Belles have been named to the ITA All-Academic Team every season since the program's resurrection in 2017-2018. 
 
Belles Tennis student-Athletes have earned ITA Scholar-Athlete 44 times over the program's nine years.
