SAN ANGELO, Texas – With the 2026-27 season just over a month away, Angelo State University head women's basketball coach Alesha Ellis has announced the Rambelles' schedule for the upcoming campaign.

Angelo State is coming off a 15-12 season in 2025-26, including a 13-7 mark in Lone Star Conference play. The Rambelles closed the regular season with a 10-game winning streak spanning more than a month before earning the No. 6 seed in the LSC Championship Tournament.

The Blue and Gold will open the 2026-27 campaign on the road, traveling to Canyon, Texas, for the D2CCA Tipoff Classic. It will mark the first time the Rambelles have competed in the event during Ellis' tenure.

Angelo State will face South Central Regional opponents New Mexico Highlands on Friday, Oct. 30, before taking on MSU Denver on Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Belles will make their home debut at the Junell Center/Stephens Arena during the South Central Regional Challenge. ASU will host Adams State on Friday, Nov. 13, before facing Regis on Saturday, Nov. 14 in the first two of 13 home contests.

Lone Star Conference play begins Thursday, Dec. 3, when the Rambelles host Lubbock Christian.

During the holiday break, Angelo State will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Holiday Hoops Classic. The Rambelles will face Findlay on Friday, Dec. 18, before closing the event against Western Washington on Saturday, Dec. 19.

The Blue and Gold will then return to LSC play in January 2027.
